12-year-old Antique was brought to the a rural shelter in Alabama in terrible state – matted from head to paw, sores all over his body, pus oozing from his eyes and ears. After several months of medical care, we’ve gotten his infections under control but he will likely need lifelong meds for his ears and eyes. He is mostly deaf and blind but gets around surprisingly well. He’s just a lazy, affectionate boy looking for love in his golden years.
Antique has been with us for close to 6 months with very little interest. We know his forever home is out there somewhere and we’d love for him to find it soon! He is fostered in Brooklyn, NY, and is available for local and out-of-state adoption as long as the adopter can travel to meet him.
