Founded in 2013 and based in Wichita, Kansas, the Wichita Animal Action League is dedicated to preventing and easing crises for animals, their families, and the community. Through proactive efforts like addressing pet overpopulation, supporting responsible pet ownership, and keeping pets out of shelters, we’re committed to keeping animals safe, healthy, and home.

How we help
Through our ALPHA (Affordable Local Pet Health Assistance) program, we provide low-cost veterinary care to underserved neighbourhoods via monthly mobile clinics. With nearly 50% of pets served being seniors, these clinics are a lifeline, offering relief from medical discomfort and helping families keep their beloved senior dogs during tough times. Support from Grey Muzzle helps us continue this vital work and ensures that more senior dogs receive the care, comfort, and dignity they deserve
