About
Houston Cares is a 100% foster-based, volunteer-run rescue working across Houston, Texas, to save homeless and abandoned pets. Since 2014, we’ve grown from a small group of neighbours into a large, caring community with a foster-first approach and an active Trap-Neuter-Release program. Every animal we help gets love, safety, and a second chance.

How we help
Senior dogs deserve comfort and care in their golden years, and this grant helps us make that possible. With Grey Muzzle’s support, we can cover diagnostics, dental work, medications, and treatments for senior dogs in our foster homes, giving them the best chance at a happy, healthy life and a loving forever family.
