About
Founded in 1960, Humane Society Naples is the premiere no-kill shelter in Collier County Florida. Our mission is to shelter animals in times of need, locate life-long homes, and advocate for responsible pet ownership. HSN serves thousands of animals each year through our sheltering, fostering and adoptions programs, as well as with medical care through our Yawney Family Veterinary Clinic and the Patty and Jay Baker Mobile Veterinary Clinic. We help families with crisis boarding, behavioral training services and have a community pet food pantry that provides staple pet supplies and food to families in need. HSN also provides numerous outreach programs to schools, businesses, and memory care facilities to educate our community about responsible pet ownership, how to care for and approach animals, and the benefits of having an animal. Since opening, HSN has adopted thousands of animals into loving homes, and we look forward to continuing our efforts with the support and commitment of our loyal community of animal lovers.

How we help
Humane Society Naples will use their grant to increase the intake of senior dogs by 10%, focusing on fostering and adoption through partnerships with local county shelters that need more resources. They plan to grow their foster program by recruiting new foster families through targeted outreach campaigns and offering comprehensive support, including veterinary care, supplies, and behavioral training. For senior dogs with complex needs, Humane Society Naples will provide “forever foster” care, ensuring these dogs spend their golden years in loving homes
